@John79030598823 @HelenRSalisbury @AliJaneMoore I totally agree with you, and with a nurse you get compassion and holistic care as well as ward experience, but please don't take my nurses. There are not enough for the crucial work nurses already do.
@HelenRSalisbury @AliJaneMoore Or just let them do what they like and persistently misdiagnose as they did with my skin cancer that I was repeatedly told was a virus. Thank God I am a nurse and know more than them and went privately to get treated.
@Dr_JSA Physician assistants.and artificial intelligence are the same thing; they just go through a computerised algorithm. The one I saw had never heard of malaena, didn't know what I a type 6 stool was and argued with me when I said blood in stools can be black. Only bright red she say
@AliJaneMoore It is another initiative to reduce the massive agency spend on nursing staff. There is a far simpler and fairer solution; pay nurses a decent wage for the qualification, experience and student t debt they are carrying and pay them the grade they are working when doing bank.
A great way to meet some of the team on my first day as i trim Director of St David's. We all reflected and discussed our achievements and what makes us proud. #IND2023#teamCNO@theRCN Happy Nurses' Day All
4. Why does the scientific community think our immune system is so depleted due to, among other measures, prolific mask wearing if it has no effect?
Whatever the answers I will continue to wear FFP 2 on public transport. If nothing else, they keep me warm and block out smells.
Some questions for the scientific medical community please. The Cochrane review has slammed mask wearing inc FFP2 but why
1. In my hospital did nobody in crit care get covid but on medical wards many did with a few staff deaths?
2. Did staff outbreaks commonly occur in those who socialised together without masks?
3. Why did I get covid in early 2020, when there was no mask wearing, and late 2022 when I dropped my guard, but not in between when I was in the thick of it but mask wearing?
@jane_f_r@DrBenLovell Amazing reconstruction surgery by an amazing surgeon so all good now thanks. I have no problems with GPs not knowing everything as normally they would refer on. But I think self referral is already taking place either through private health if affordable, or through ED if not.
@StuartW1976@DrBenLovell All ok now, thank you. Secondary care already overloaded and acting as the gatekeeper as GP f2f appointments still not matching need. I was lucky enough to afford private care but others use ED.
@PetronellaWyatt I think it is very sad all round. It used to be so interesting to hear about people's cultural backgrounds. I am half maltese and have always been questioned about my olive skin. I was proud to talk about Malta. I loved being called exotic. I thought people were just interested.
@DoctorOstomy My husband waited 15 hours even though we did ring to check. When the GP did call, we were boarding a ferry. Not very convenient or conducive but we were too scared to let it pass.
@trishgreenhalgh I actually think it needs reporting and most that I have read has been quite balanced. The mother, I understand has gone public with some grotesque comments which need a responsible counterbalance as the potentential harm to others is immense. My heart is with all involved.
.@RishiSunak, @PennyMordaunt, @trussliz, @KemiBadenoch tonight you'll be on Channel 4 for your first tv leadership debate.
This might not be possible if C4 was privatised.
Will you stand with the 450,000 of us who have signed the petition and commit to #SaveChannel4 ?
@MandyCoalbags @HelenRSalisbury @trishgreenhalgh Unless I have read this wrong, the study Is from 2020 when indeed WHO did not advise mask wearing. I believe the position has changed following more recent studies.
