Chronic illness and s*x work intersect more than people realize. When jobs aren’t accessible, s*x work can offer flexibility, freedom, and survival. Support s*x workers. Support disabled people. Support both.
Street sex workers are not sponges for abuse to be used as an unpaid labour force of police informants.

FOSTA-SESTA was an attempt to shut down the websites that facilitate trafficking. But s*x w*rkers say it’s had the additional effect of putting their lives in danger by hobbling an online infrastructure they have come to depend on.

There are many reasons to push for decriminalization of sex work, and one of them is that it would allow sex workers who have been victims of sexual assault to report without risk of arrest. You cannot eradicate rape culture when it's illegal to report being assaulted.
Men who blame SWers for taking their money and compare them to drug dealers aren’t actually angry at the women.
They’re angry at themselves for wanting something, paying for it, and still feeling powerless. It’s all shame, projection and lack of accountability.
Sex Work is Work. Human Rights Are Non-Negotiable.
Governments should fully decriminalize sex work and ensure that sex workers do not face discrimination in law or practice. Criminalizing adult, voluntary, and consensual sex violates personal autonomy, privacy, and the right to work with dignity.
Decriminalization = Safety + Rights + Justice
When sex work is criminalized:
❌ Sex workers face violence and abuse with no legal protection.
❌ Access to healthcare, legal aid, and social services is blocked.
❌ Stigma fuels discrimination, poverty, and unsafe working conditions.
