Are you working on your @RevenueCat#shipaton submission?
There's nothing worse than working on your app all summer and adding "one more feature" over and over.
... But then never actually ship
Make sure you actually ship: https://t.co/1AXn04QSYy
You've probably heard by now that SwiftUI has a fancy @State macro that lazily creates state, fixing a longstanding issue in the framework.
But what you may not know is that the laziness only kicks in for **private** state.
Get all the details here:

@SebJVidal Well I could use it without a screen, but that wouldn't really make sense, no? 😂
(I only have a super old 1080p screen that I barely use, so I'd probably pick up a Studio Display or something similar with a Mac Mini / Studio)
if you’re planning to switch your apple personal developer account -> company developer account
DO NOT listen to codex. chatgpt, or claude - in my personal (and humbling experience), they’re wrong! follow these steps instead:
TLDR:
Yes, total app spend in the US is down
But, that decline is completely driven by games (non-gaming is up), AND the same drop is visible in Play Store
Yes, the drop in gaming revenue *might* (is likely to be?) caused by web payments
But, games are whale-driven businesses. They have a very small cohort of highly engaged, high intent users, that produce the majority of their revenue. Moving a highly engaged, high intent user to the web to pay is easy, because they're willing to overcome quite a bit of friction
So, nothing to see here. Carry on
Last year I actually hand-coded this entire thing. With vibecoding I can't even imagine how much I could get done with an hour or so sending prompts from the beach!
Last year while I was on vacation, I built Ekho, an app that turns tweets into social-ready images (e.g. to crosspost to IG & TT)
I'll be on vacation again from tomorrow... what will I build this time?
Alright iOS 27 question: What the hell are we doing with the nav bars???
Are we keeping the new default “hard” blurs or going back to iOS 26-style “soft” blurs?
Every time I open X I see people getting rejected or being stuck "waiting for review"
I absolutely know the pain - I almost missed the #shipaton submission last years because I was waiting for over 2 weeks to get into review
So I made a video covering everything that helps getting into review faster & avoiding unnecessary rejections: https://t.co/Hdo6UNbhs6

I get your frustration, because I've had these issues from day 1 - sometimes it works great, sometimes there are tiny hangs / jumps.
The Master 4 apparently has an improved Bluetooth module and the adapter is now also USB-C instead of USB-A, which the old one had. I'm not using the adapter though, just connected through Bluetooth like any other accessory.
I'll try to remember to update you in a few weeks/months with how it's going. So far it was wort the ~105€ (got it with a discount on Amazon)
Picked up the Logi Master 4 today ... and finally the microlag that I had with multiple Master 3Ss is gone.
Feelsgoodman
Gotta get used to the haptics and different way of switching between desktops, but so far a nice upgrade!
It‘s super annoying to get stuck waiting for review!
While there is no magic pill, there are several things you CAN do to help the process (no, I‘m not talking about expedited reviews)
Just made a video on this:

I THOUGHT BUILDING MY FIRST IPHONE APP WOULD BE EXCITING.
It wasuntil App Review.
Microdex has been stuck in review for almost two weeks. I already have updates ready, but I can’t ship any of them.
Honestly, Apple is starting to drain all the excitement I had when I built it.
Can a first App Store review really take this long?
