Der Anteil akuter Mangelernährung bei Kindern unter fünf Jahren liegt zwischen 0,2 und 0,8 %. In Ägypten beträgt er 2,9 %, in Jordanien 2,0 %, in Syrien über 12 % und sogar in Bulgarien 4 %.

Mit anderen Worten: Die Mangelernährung liegt nicht nur deutlich unter den kritischen Werten – sie ist im regionalen Vergleich außergewöhnlich niedrig. Es gibt keine Hungersnot in Gaza. Wer noch offen für Argumente ist, kann sich die empirischen Daten selbst ansehen.
