@Zwulf@ChronoKatie what does this even mean? one guy thinks concord was OK and a different guy wasn't a fan of brothership, no one needs to be held accountable? that doesnt even make any sense. do you have any idea about how reviewing things works?
@TrashyAve @GenePark One of the most under appreciated things about Metaphor is just how frequently the game gives you the feeling of triumph, and these awakening scenes are the best at showcasing that.
@adventuresofteo@PaulTassi Not sure what to tell you then. All that a mostly positive steam rating tells me is that most people who are playing the game are enjoying it, but the game is also a bit more divisive than usual. Tracks with how Veilguard is being received.
@MiaCulpa24@GenePark Id like to see Austin review more big games in general. Feels like he's usually delegated to smaller games, online games, and indies while Ralph gets to review all the big stuff when sometimes I'd like to see how he thinks of the smaller games, online games, or indies.
@SmashyNick Devolver is still around, Annapurna is effectively a reanimated corpse, Humble is dead, Team17 had that debacle a while back, and lots of others have dropped like flies. Feels like these days its New Blood, Raw Fury, and Playstack that are set up to become the new guard.
@horrorvisuals Yeah. The Lake House was missing that MOMENT like how the base game had a few of those moments, and night springs had Episode 3 as its big moment. TLH felt rather unremarkable for most of its runtime which is a shame since survival horror in an fbc facility feels like a slam dunk
Alan Wake 2 turns one year today.
Making it was a long and winding road. With The Lake House, the final chapter comes to a close. End of an Era, by @Peppepappa and sung by @ameliajvocals, celebrates that final chapter: https://t.co/yTtIWegS6Y
Thank you to our community for a wonderful first year. #1YearOfAlanWake2
