Straight with you about FLOPPY. We started this without strong enough goals. An arcade with a coin attached is a nice thing to have built, but "nice" isn't a reason for anyone to hold something, and we knew it.
Done. The dev wallet is sold. The site stays up as it is. Thanks for playing. Creator Fees are still routed my way so future development isn't impossible.
Selling the FLOPPY dev wallet now, as announced on 12 September and again earlier today. This is the last warning. Thank you to everyone who played. The games, the boards and the source stay online.
Heads up: the FLOPPY dev wallet sale announced for Friday 19 September didn't happen yesterday. It happens later today, Saturday 20 September. I'll post again right before I do it. Nothing else has changed. The arcade stays up.
In case you missed it: we announced yesterday that we're stepping back from FLOPPY. The dev wallet sells on Friday 19 September. Full note is pinned. The arcade stays up.
So we're stepping back from FLOPPY.
The dev wallet will be sold on Saturday 19th September 2026, one week from today. There will be more warnings before then. Announce before sell, as promised on day one. The site stays online.

We spent the last two weeks working out how to keep the floppy-disk arcade and grow it: things to own, a workshop for player-made levels, live rooms, a public ledger. Good plan on paper. In practice it means rebuilding the whole structure and the gameplay underneath it, and that is far more work and $ than we can put in right now.
Which of the four gets built next: a racer, an asteroids-style shooter, a match-3, or a one-screen platformer? Reply with your pick. Holders can make it count on VOTE before the 12th.
FLOPPY is an arcade on a floppy disk. Pick a disk out of the tray and it loads on the CRT beside it. There's a token attached to it, the site is the product, not the other way round.
@Ap_ex01 I've got one posted at the bottom of this thread, It is not a main priority due to managing it, but it has a built in buy bot custom to Floppy as well as some chatting.
