fantastic work @TuongMHo @research_hope . OTO-IVM (ex vivo IVM; immature oocytes from ovarian tissue) is a no-brainer for fertility preservation for a lab routinely running IVM for infertility treatment. Easy peasy !!

However, for COCs from <6mm foll, the use of biphasic ivm is more beneficial compared to standard IVM (Sánchez et al 2019, Akin et al 2021) #ESHREjc

Oocyte developmental status depends on gonadotropin (dose) priming, follicle size. #ESHREjc

This needs to be studied in oocytes from smaller (<6mm) follicles using biphasic IVM yet. #ESHREjc

Once oocytes reached the MII stage they could be fertilised either by IVF or ICSI. #ESHREjc

Indeed, the concept of CAPA-IVM developed in mouse, was on oocytes from small antral follicles from Non-stimulated 19-20 day-old animals using IVF and went perfectly good. #ESHREjc
