the clouds
marvelled of their
effortless drift
free from restraint.
while the days of my girlhood were silenced with fear
some days I dream

I am in Juba, I am in Thong Piny, I am alive 🙏🏿 As a journalist I can’t help it but scroll on social media to see how people outside South Sudan get so excited about unfortunate events, some even try to take glories in I told you people.

And the worst calibre are the ones in Juba who thinks it’s funny to make jokes about Gunshots that started at night at a prime time 7:00 PM where all hustlers are trying to make ends meet,

I am disappointed 🚮 it’s a shame my people. #SSOX
