The Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride is now passing Shoal Creek Bridge.

The Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride will come through Florence this afternoon. We are expecting the ride to come through between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. The ride will enter Florence city limits from the east via U.S. Hwy 72.

Helton Drive will be closing down from Patton Island Bridge to Rickwood Road within the next hour in honor of the Hero's Ride Home, honoring Fallen Sgt. Nick Risner. Please be aware of your surroundings and avoid Driving on Helton Drive if possible.
