He then signed a kitchen knife out of his supported accommodation, walked into a Camden park and stabbed grandfather Mark Carroll, 55, in the back in a completely unprovoked attack.

Mark was simply walking with a friend. He died.

Rahman has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 27 years.

A parent has just written to me. His son took a tiny Australian flag to school on flag day which was celebrating the 125th birthday of our flag. His email reads:

“his history teacher lectured him on how some people find the flag offensive and he must stop waving and carrying it around. She then confiscated it from him and only gave it back after the lesson had finished. She gave ….. her left wing lecture and made him promise to put the Australian flag in his bag and not get it out again at school”.

Teachers are not meant to teach kids what to think but how to think.

I have rung the school to discuss this and complain.
