Happy Wednesday! We’ve officially reached that magical point in the week where Friday is close enough to get excited about… but your alarm clock still has other ideas. 🤣

If you’re heading off to work this morning, keep going. Every job, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Give it your best, have a laugh along the way, and remember, nobody ever looked back and regretted being kind to someone.

For those working from home, changing from your pyjamas into your “smart pyjamas” doesn’t count as getting dressed. We know your game. 🤣

Today’s completely pointless Yorkshire fact: Yorkshire is home to the oldest sweet shop in the world, in Pateley Bridge. It’s been serving people with sugar since 1827… which also explains why Yorkshire folk are so sweet. We’ll ignore the grumpy ones—they’re probably from Lancashire. 🤣

And finally… if someone says, “This’ll only take five minutes,” leave immediately. They’re either lying, or they’re about to volunteer you for something you’ve got absolutely no intention of doing.

Whatever today brings, tackle it with a smile, keep the brews flowing, look after each other, and remember…

We’re over the hump, the weekend is getting closer, and somewhere in Britain someone is already asking, “Is it too early for a Yorkshire pudding?”

The correct answer, of course, is no.

The Galeón Andalucía is the world’s largest replica of a traditional Spanish galleon ⚓️

A full-scale reconstruction of the armed merchant ships Spain sailed in the 16th to 18th centuries.

About 50m long, built in 2010 as a floating museum.

She’s been in Ireland this week, arriving off Streedagh. The crew honoured the three Spanish Armada ships that wrecked there in 1588 and the more than 1,100 sailors who lost their lives.
