This is what happens when you meet a true God-bearing elder of the church. Look up who Roosh was. This blessing changed his whole life course. It's not like meeting a scholarly Christian. I cannot explain it, but when it happens, and God's grace is imparted, your heart sets aflame and YOU KNOW.

I have only met 1 my entire Orthodox life and I have traveled the world, been to Athos twice....maybe there were others and God hid them from me. The one I met was established by Elder Ephraim and her name is Mother Markella.

She looked at me, read my life, told me what it was and what my problem was without me even saying a word and the whole time I sat there my heart was bursting and tears filled my eyes. I felt the presence of Christ in this nun.

Its real. Protestantism and politics won't get us there. Prayer, fasting and self denial are a start.
