Lincoln's survival to the end of the war determined modern america.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

Lincoln was very unprotected and did not have much security considering it being in time during a war.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

Lincoln has already been a target for assassination.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

John Wilkes Booth was a southern supported who targeted Lincoln and killed him at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS even though this is after the war, it is still good for our side cause he was our enemy and now they don't have a president

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS they are heroes for serving and everybody is very thankful for their time.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS the war was worth it because it made the US unite again and be a whole. yes they did lose a lot of men but they are heroes.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS yes he did because he knew his situation was hopeless and would only continue to lose more men. sadly, that is a loss for us.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS yeah, but was it really worth it? losing all those men that will never return to their families. that was a big sacrifice.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS he could have done better because he lost a lot of men- 24,000 men. but hey! better for us! #knockemdead

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS since we are with the confederates, NO HE DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT!! it was really rude...

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@TheHalfers @MrStraitFCPS look at some of the things that have happened, we've had our best general die due to bleeding to death in his boot

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS he should be careful. lee was very sick during Gettysburg, so the north had some luck. that is how they are doing well so far.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS well, for us, Gettysburg was the first lost in the east for the confederates. it was the bloodiest and largest 3 day battle.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@TheHalfers Yas, ladies are the http://t.co/sTIabxAqAl

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

We may have lost the Gettysburg battle but we will come back. #WatchYourBack

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@MrStraitFCPS It was the bloodiest battle of the war, which was 3 days long. We lost this battle which was our first loss in the East.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

@TheHalfers Yas gurl yas.

The women helped aid the war because they became nurses and took over buildings with the US sanitary commission to help soldiers overall.

[Florida fighters @Floridafighter]

The economics in the South were the worst due to food shortages, Transportation, and inflation. Most likely because there was no president.
