They are lying and everyone knows it. These centres threaten water and energy sustainability, represent an environmental hazard and provide virtually nothing in terms of jobs or benefits, ‘local growth’ (whatever that means).
The British Crown is the English Crown only and holds no legal title in Scotland. Adding Scotland to an English coronation oath and cooking up a wee ‘oath of accession’ - a bodged up pantomime to dress up annexation as the union for a single kingdom - has legal consequences. It leaves the crown of Scotland intact. It makes British/English Crown administration of the territorial jurisdiction (kingdom) of the Scottish Crown unlawful.
The idea of a single Crown of England and Scotland is heavily advertised by the annexing British state as the reality - but it’s a crock.
And there’s a reason you only ever hear about political and economic union. Because with no union of the crowns (crowns not monarchs) there’s never been a territorial union.
The crown in Scotland is not the monarch. So even if Charles were lawful king of Scots rather than lawful king of the annexing state of England, lording it over his annexed domain of Scotland, his officers would have no legal right to dispose of our territory without consent.
Time to expose the truth about who *really* owns Scotland and why and - more importantly- time to do something about it.
Oh look, it rained.
Areas of the country where water companies are currently dumped sh*t into rivers and on to beaches.
Brown, currently dumping sewage.
Red, has been dumping sewage within the last 24 hours.
Mushrooms evolved into psilocybin twice.
A fascinating new study has revealed that psilocybin—the psychedelic compound in magic mushrooms—arose not once, but twice, through entirely independent evolutionary events in distant corners of the fungal kingdom.
In the familiar Psilocybe species, psilocybin is assembled via a well-characterized four-enzyme pathway. Yet when scientists examined certain small, drab fiber cap mushrooms (from genera like Inocybe and allies), they discovered a completely unrelated biochemical assembly line: different genes, different enzymes, different intermediate steps—yet the end product is chemically identical.
This is a remarkable case of convergent evolution: two lineages, with no shared ancestry for this trait, each invented their own molecular machinery to manufacture the same powerful molecule.
Why fungi bother making psilocybin at all is still unclear. Some hypothesize it serves as a defense chemical (the blue bruising reaction in damaged Psilocybe tissue hints at this), while others propose roles in inter-species signaling or entirely unknown ecological functions. Whatever the benefit, it was evidently strong enough for natural selection to favor it twice, in very different habitats.
The finding also carries immediate practical value. With psilocybin advancing in clinical trials for treatment-resistant depression and other conditions, having two distinct biosynthetic pathways gives researchers multiple genetic toolkits for engineering microbes or yeast to produce the compound in bioreactors—potentially making therapeutic-grade psilocybin far cheaper and more scalable.
In the end, nature quietly solved the same chemical puzzle twice, deep in the soil, millions of years apart—and only now are we stumbling across its elegant, redundant handiwork.

Extraordinary. You could not make this up. A senior advisor to the Prime Minister of India, the most populous nation on earth, has just publicly declared that Scotland is a colony. Watch carefully what happened next, because the reaction tells you everything about the true constitutional condition of Scotland.
1. The colonial UK i.e. English government said nothing. No protest, diplomatic complaint or rebuttal. Why? Because Scotland is a colony & a protest would force the English state to defend a fiction. Any sovereign state secure in its legitimacy would immediately challenge such a statement. Silence here is fear not dignity; the recognition that the charge is accurate. The English government cannot dispute the claim without exposing the territorial alienation of Scotland even more starkly before the world.
2. The Scottish devolved administration also said nothing.
No outrage, defence, explanation, protest...Nada. Why the paralysis? Because the devolved administration is structurally colonised & politically dependent. If they reject the statement, they expose themselves as collaborators protecting the coloniser. If they endorse it, they confront the English state, which they will never dare to do. Their silence is the silence of a trapped institution; confirming they are not a government. They are a departmental unit managing the colony.
3. The British i.e. the English coloniser's media system immediately locked the issue down. No BBC headline. Nothing. Total blackout. Why? Because Scotland is a colony. If this story receives oxygen, the entire narrative architecture collapses. So the BBC simply refused to report it, as if censoring the existence of the largest democracy on the planet were normal public broadcasting practice.
4. The only outlet that touched the story was The Telegraph, and for containment not journalism. The Telegraph did not even mention the name of the advisor to the Indian PM. It erased him. The person who made the statement & fabricated a decoy narrative centred on William Dalrymple, whose role in this affair was purely reactive. The Telegraph replaced the Indian-origin statement with a white British colonial intermediary to hijack the frame & reassert English interpretive control. A classic colonial tactic: erase the Global South voice, install a collaborating intermediary, redirect the discussion away from the original claim. Crazy.
Dalrymple performed the expected colonial argument. He replied to Sanyal with a colonial containment line: that “ethnic Scots” had supposedly managed the English coloniser by producing Blair, Brown, Cameron. (Blair, Cameron are not Scots!) A bizarre, racist argument that assumes Scots are ethnically manageable units within an English state narrative, deployed to erase the colonial condition of Scotland; reducing Scottish identity to an administrative resource of the coloniser. A textbook example of colonial psychology at work.
5. Every actor behaved exactly as actors in a colonial system behave.
– The coloniser avoided comment to protect itself
– The colonised administrative class froze because its loyalty is divided, ultimately subordinate
– The colonial media system suppressed the story because its function is to maintain the colonial illusion
– The collaborating intellectual stepped forward to neutralise the charge, redirecting attention away from the Global South
–Inadvertently confirming the original accusation.
It all makes sense since Scotland is a colony. If Scotland were a sovereign nation, this episode would have unfolded entirely differently. None of this would be happening.
Every institution reacted exactly as a colonial system reacts. This tells the world what the English state is desperately trying to hide.
The truth is out. India said it. The world will repeat it. The English state has no answer.
🇪🇺 Ursula von der Leyen has reportedly decided to take on a new role — that of Europe’s “chief intelligence officer.”
According to the Financial Times, the European Union is planning to create a new intelligence unit directly under her control. However, not everyone in Brussels is happy about it.
Senior officials within the EU diplomatic service, which manages the bloc’s existing intelligence and situation center (Intcen), are reportedly opposed to this idea. They argue that von der Leyen’s initiative would duplicate existing functions and undermine the current structure. Moreover, the plan has not yet been officially communicated to all 27 member states, though it envisions drawing staff from national intelligence services.
Europe increasingly resembles a totalitarian structure where “democracy” is just a facade for centralizing power. Ironic, isn’t it, that they still lecture others about freedom and transparency?
