@allie__voss My parents modeled the faith. Sure we did all things: reg church attendance, etc but my mom diligently studied her Bible and we saw it everyday. We prayed at every meal. Small things make a huge difference.
@wadestotts Not kidding that I had a student who asked me (a few years ago) if I was married. I said “yes.” She goes “you look divorced!” I wondered if it was a compliment (looking for a new man) or a put down (looking haggard and discarded). Still the funniest thing!
There's a huge election in VA today & the conservative world is mostly talking about Carlsons having the kind of conversation two homeless guys would have, fixating on ppl they hate. We need to stop this. These people are on the left now. Time for the rest of us to move on.
@AuronMacintyre My parents were missionaries in Haiti and said it was legitimately demonic. Corruption at every level. Really sad. Doesn’t mean they don’t bring their customs and issues here. Haitians need to fix Haiti.
@alisa_childers I have two profoundly autistic kids and I definitely grieve what motherhood I thought I’d have. But God has been so faithful through it. Certain milestones hit hard (my son is turning 15, no driver’s ed for him) but my husband and I have received beauty for ashes indeed.
@MattWalshBlog I have two profoundly autistic children and not for once second do I wish I didn’t have kids. This isn’t because I’m some great person, it’s because of the grace of Jesus Christ. These women need salvation.
@bethanyshondark I have a “healthy” friend who eschews most western medical practices and has been sick since we graduated high school. 20 years ago. She blames it on adrenal fatigue and mono and fibromyalgia. I think it’s all psychosomatic and anxiety.
@Cernovich@realDonaldTrump I went to ONU for one year and it’s majorly left wing now. I finished my degree at Michigan State and felt less hounded as a conservative.
@realalexclark Just celebrated 17 years of marriage on Saturday. We also have two profoundly autistic sons. Our life is dramatically different than we thought. We’ve had hard years. However, our marriage has always been strong. I know we are blessed beyond measure. Christ is faithful.
@SteveDeaceShow I’m continually the odd (wo)man out: female, white, graduate degree in education (undergrad from BigTen univ), work in public schools and am very, very conservative.
@conservmillen I have two autistic sons and we’ve flown with them a few times. I’m always so nervous that one will have a meltdown (praise God that hasn’t happened). my son will get mad about waiting to get off the plane. People just stare but they never say “want to go in front of us?”
