Happy holidays everyone. Thank you to the folks who participated in my survey! I had the most responses in the class!
I don’t regret deleting twitter from my phone, but I do miss all of the friends I made, and being part of the aa community. I hope you all are doing well! ❤️❤️❤️
If you are 18-25 and have ever had thoughts about becoming a parent or NOT becoming a parent or are confused why republicans are obsessed with the declining birth and fertility rates but never ask young people WHY, this is the survey for you. I’m trying to cast a wide net :)
Deleting Twitter off of my phone. I might still check it on my laptop every now and then, but if anyone ever wants to reach me, tumblr is probably the place to go. Thanks for all the memories! https://t.co/VPMcHiaxJD
Another big milestone for baby tapir Ume! 💗 She now has two teeth coming in and has started mouthing at food and hay. 🥬 It won’t be long before she’s munching away like mom Yuna! The rare and endangered tapir calf is 23 days old today. She is growing fast and will soon outgrow her stripes and spots, which will fade around six months of age. Ume and her mom, Yuna, will be viewable to guests later this spring once she gets a little older and the weather warms up.
Happy Friday! Ume, the endangered tapir calf, is 19 days old today. Our adorable Malayan tapir calf is growing fast and will soon outgrow her stripes and spots, which will fade around six months of age. Ume and her mom, Yuna, will be viewable to guests later this spring once she gets a little older and the weather warms up.
And... it's a girl! 🎉 We’re excited to share that our rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf has been named Ume (pronounced oo-me), a name chosen by her dedicated keeper staff. Ume means plum blossom and apricot in Japanese. 🌸
@AnnieGranger7@katskindahere Hand placement is always the same because the holes and keys are arranged so that you can really only press down on them if your left hand’s on top. There’s a lot of keys crammed onto a small instrument, so many of them can only be pressed at specific angles with specific fingers
The adorable tapir calf is already mastering the art of wiggling its tiny trunk. 🥰
Baby tapirs use their tiny trunks for sniffing, exploring, and even grasping small objects. Their trunks are an extended upper lip and nose, which helps them sense their surroundings and forage.
