Flower Fun Fact: This vibrant violet-blue flower is called a Scilla. It's ignored by rabbits, deer, & chipmunks, allowing it to thrive in Greater Victoria's springtime. 💜

As one of the first signs of spring, this yellow flower symbolizes joy and happiness around the world, as well as friendship, new beginnings, and hope.

Flower Fun Fact: there's a Japanese term reserved for flower viewing! 'Hanami' is the practice of viewing cherry blossoms or having a picnic party under the trees.

Luckily, Hanami is easy to do in Victoria with our thousands of cherry & plum blossoms. 🌸💮
