LOP Joel Ssenyonyi: “We were here, Rt. Hon. Speaker, at another time speaking about missing persons. There’s a gentleman called John Bosco Kibalama who was abducted on 3rd June 2019. It has been seven years since… The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister told us Kibalama was arrested, but up to now government has not accounted for Kibalama and 17 others, and we are adding onto that list. Government needs to account for those people, both opposition and government.”
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja: “In 2021 while we were in a place called Kavule, there is our chairman called Kibalama, and that is the man I meant.”

According to the family, the deceased sustained a knife wound to the neck, which is suspected to have been inflicted by the individual seen in frame two.
Today at Luzira Prison, I and members of Dr. Kizza Besigye's legal team were denied access of electronic devices needed to review evidence, despite a court order permitting the facilities necessary to prepare his defence.
Although we were able to meet with Dr. Besigye and Hajj Obeid Lutale, we were prevented from carrying out the very purpose of our visit: reviewing and analysing the prosecution's evidence with the aid of the electronic equipment required for that exercise.
A fair trial depends on more than court appearance, it requires that lawyers have the time, access, and tools needed to properly examine evidence and represent their clients.
When court orders are disregarded, the rule of law itself is put to the test.
This matters beyond Uganda. Across East Africa, we aspire to build societies founded on justice, accountable governance, and respect for human rights.
Those aspirations mean little if due process can be undermined.
Justice must remain bigger than our politics and borders.
Exaggerated? Tell that to this woman who has lost her man and father to her child. Tell that to his mother! Frank may death never locate any of your loved ones and people make such careless comments. Disgusting.
HE Bobiwine's story is a true definition of the harder the squeeze the sweater the juice and when lie is on our side, i guarantee you guys he will be the President of Uganda, Never lose hope📌.
When Justice Baguma moved out as soon as Besigye started calling out Museveni, was that still impunity or it was cowardice ?

Hon. @HonNambooze (Mukono Municipality) implores the House to send the loan request to the Committee on National Economy for scrutiny in accordance with Rule 162(2) of the Rules of Procedure.
She was, however, overruled by the Speaker @ObothOboth, who invoked Rule 8, saying the sectoral committee has not yet been constituted, yet the loan request is urgent. #PlenaryUg
Madam Prime Minister, @R_Nabbanja no matter how long it takes, we will continue demanding answers and accountability for Mr. Kibalama John Bosco. You acknowledged that he was arrested by your regime, yet over 7 years later he is nowhere to be seen. Where is he?
Update: Our candidate for the Kalangala District woman MP byelection Nampala Irene has been duly nominated this afternoon at the Electoral Commission office.
In the absence of the rule of law, both civilian actors and state security operatives can abduct citizens with impunity, as the perpetrators cannot be held legally accountable.
