We just need a coach. These players can do more if given enough to work with.
Again, we go 84 minutes with a flat Lilepo and Mmodi. No attacking substitutions when it's clear we are struggling there. We had already wasted a sub bringing in Sirino at 10 instead of Vilakazi when Mdu got injured. You're not keeping the ball but doing more work out of possession, and you think Sirino can help?
With Ndlovu not adding anything in ball retention or circulation, as well as defensive security. Bringing Ox doesn't bring much of a difference unless you're not willing to have your own moments on the ball. We were too predictable not wanting to stay with the ball. A Sirino at 10 needs the team to already be spending some time on the ball so that he can receive much higher with fewer actions needed before key actions where we can hurt the opponent.
A Cele would have allowed us force Sundowns to have less of the ball especially with a man down, relieve the pressure on our defense that does extra work because of the midfield and attack losing possession for fun. Even when Maboe would try slow down, it lacked support. Once the ball leaves his foot, it's going up in the air or just forward.
The defense was our best part of the game, the entire back 4, and Gk put a solid performance. A poor moment in that goal, but overall, they kept Sundowns out. The game was aggressive, and they stood their ground.
The sooner we move past the experiments of the co-coaches, the better. This team can do more.

DOCUMENTARY LOADING: Dr. Anele Mngadi exposing Standard Bank's diabolical Fraud against her and other vulnerable clients.
The first series of eleven episodes illustrates the authors' own experience with Standard Bank's fraudulent conduct, the bank's denials, how she won her legal battle after four years in both civil and criminal Courts. Importantly, the violence perpetrated against her when she freed herself from their claws, underscoring risks faced by whistleblowers who publicise giants who abuse the vulnerable.
The series relies on irrefutable evidence from civil legal records heard by the Johannesburg High Court over four years under CAS 63930/2016; criminal dockets of the Fraud charge from Randburg Criminal Court under CAS 685/04/2017; violent robberies where she was beaten, robbed of legal documents with AK47s, then hanged and left to die CAS 85/7/2017 and CAS 174/4/2022 amongst others; Findings from the Pretoria SAPS Forensic Laboratory supported by two independent forensic experts; and a forensic report from her Private Investigators, as its primary source of information.
The series calls for public submissions of similar Standard Bank abuse stories, directly challenging CEO Mr Simpiwe Tshabalala's inaction despite relentless notifications, in line with ongoing South African scrutiny of banking ethics and fraud prevalence in peer-reviewed studies like those from the South African Reserve Bank on systemic vulnerabilities. @standardbankZA
