I am done with Twitter.
If you want to contact me with anything Yogscast or Paul "Sjin" Sykes related, I am monitoring my Tumblr blog: https://t.co/WzTFLQhRUv
I do not have any other social media at this point. It's been great. Perhaps I'll find you at a later time. 🥲 👋
@UmbireTheShade@theRealArcueid I hope they never get established anywhere else and are left to fester here by themselves so their victims can finally get on with their lives.
@meakoopa At this point in history, wasn't the agricultural land around Rome mainly grape and olive plantations and so Rome was importing grain from abroad? Like, Rome *could* have grown much more grain locally, but that would have meant forcing the rich landowners to make less money?
@pixelpreaching@KolleenCarney Right. If you just ban words instead of dismantling the underlying assumptions that make the words into insults in the first place, you haven't reduced ableism any, you've just jumped onto the euphemism treadmill.

@CampariMD Or making sure everyone received and stayed current on their chicken pox/shingles vaccine. We could even give the shingles vaccine to people under 50.
@KilHames@nickschadegg Dishwasher soap is designed not to form bubbles. If you put dish soap in a dishwasher, you will get suds oozing out of the dishwasher and all over the kichen floor. Ask me how I know! 😓
@these_qualia Like, would a boy become Barbie, or would he pretend she was Batman? Assuming he'd play with a Barbie character at all, that is, because a lot of them wouldn't.
@SeitanicP @LilySimpson1312 lol, didn't realize the American Kennel Club, Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association were all part of Big Meat.

@orangebear3134 @LilySimpson1312 Mmm. You can trap-neuter-release healthy feral cats. You can't release dogs (they'll die) or many cats (sick, newborn kittens needing round-the-clock care, surrendered housecats).
(But open shelters not run by PETA manage to adopt out a much higher % of their animals, so yeah.)
@LilySimpson1312 cw: animal cruelty/animal death
Reminder that PETA shelters euthanize *a minimum* of 8 out of 10 dogs and cats they take in. Sometimes it is as high as a 95% kill rate. PETA consistently advocates for killing animals (domestic and wild) rather than exist as pets or in captivity.
Neither the WGA or SAG-AFTRA is calling for a consumer boycott right now. If you want to support the strike, we're asking folks to:
1) Boost our message on social media
2) Donate to the Entertainment Community Fund, which supports affected workers https://t.co/HmUJCZaH2r
