@Zimtok5@benz145@ID_AA_Carmack@PalmerLuckey The DK days were the best. Museum of the Microstar, Dumpy Going Elephants, the Ghibli demos... Each day felt like there was something new to explore. Oculus Share was an incredible place of discovery.
That DevKit journey felt more amazing than when we got to the destination.

Can’t quite believe the ZX Spectrum turns 44 today! 🙏 I’m even less willing to acknowledge I’m more than a decade older than it!
On 23 April 1982, Sir Clive Sinclair unveiled a rubber-keyed, rainbow-striped 8-bit computer at the Churchill Hotel in London. It cost £125. It sold over five million units. It contributed significantly to the launch of the British IT industry.
Around twenty thousand+ games were made for it including of course Jet Set Willy, Atic Atac and my personal fave - The Way of the Exploding Fist 🤜 💥
In the middle of an AI arms race, it’s worth remembering how simple the computing experience used to be.
What was your first ZX Spectrum game?🕹️
@GAMERTAGVR I've been here since the Rift Kickstarter, and I've never felt so disillusioned with it all. I'm pretty much back to flat gaming at this point.
While I firmly believe VR is here to stay, the experiences I want just aren't here.
@ImmersedRobot@SkarredGhost This is the problem though. Aircar is still a go-to demo when trying a new headset. It still impresses me. It looks better than most modern VR games. A decade old demo should not be my de-facto visual test at this point in time.
I've been working on a little hand-drawn platform game for a while now (non-VR). It's called 'Drawn Before' and the demo is now available on Steam if you'd like to give it a try. Thanks! https://t.co/bPSSouyrhw
@loinmin@MetaQuestVR Did the same to me earlier this year for 3 days in a row. I uninstalled it. If you're just using Steam/VD, you don't need the Meta app/drivers installed anyway.
I'll be meeting up with Gary and Lee from the Recentered VR podcast next weekend (6th) at the #retrocomputermuseum in Leicester. Come and join us for the afternoon: https://t.co/ePZoJwayBL
@Castello_Inc Support game developer pls, otherwise there won’t be games, investors have stopped due to low adoption, Meta has done hardly any support deals, other platforms are barley doing anything, it really does need gamers to buy games or its a race to the bottom.
