Lieutenant Jason Litchfield claimed Dalton โhas access to his religious stuffโ through a restricted tablet, ignored concerns that Tennessee law states inmates shall be provided a Bible upon request, and walked away mid-conversation.
This comes as neighboring Williamson County faces federal litigation over allegations that inmates were denied physical Bibles and limited to electronic access.
Montgomery County has previously accommodated the religious needs of other inmates, including providing a Muslim inmate with a Quran, prayer rug, and compass.
