As someone who used to think this way, and lost over 130lbs cutting out carbs and exercising, I know it’s possible.

@LilWitchez @sleepin_volk Starving yourself can make your body go into survival mode which will try to conserve as much energy as possible and slow your metabolism, but it can’t magically stop itself from burning energy, light exercise will burn energy, which basically means it will rely on fat reserves

@LilWitchez @sleepin_volk It is physically impossible to not eat for an extended period of time, aka fasting, and not lose weight. Your body uses energy to function and it will use whatever it has in its system to do so. Once your body burns all its carbs it will fall back fat reserves.

@L87343049 @CamdensYard @LilWitchez @sleepin_volk You might not like the diet but it works. Your body wants to burn carbs first, then fat, so you cut out carbs and force your body to burn fat as your energy source. As someone who’s lost over 130lbs cutting out carbs I can assure you it works.

@lacizzle8 If there’s no range and you aren’t sure what to ask for, do research on what the role pays in your area & take into account what you think you’re worth and give them that number. If they go low counter with slightly less than the original number and feel them out.

@lacizzle8 I worked in corporate recruiting. In my experience they are always wanting to pay you as low as they can go, within reason, but everything is negotiable. If they gave you a range I’d go in asking for the most, as they will probably go low, then you’d likely meet in the middle.
