Over the past week, three of our @flysmf Airport K9 teams have been deployed to Santa Clara in support of Super Bowl security operations.

These teams conducted K9 sweeps of the stadium and surrounding infrastructure as part of a coordinated, multi-agency effort. The K9s are explosive detection K9s, specially trained to locate explosive materials and support large-scale public safety operations.

Awesome to see the work our Deputies and K9 handlers are doing behind the scenes at the Super Bowl!

@MelanieMonroe Since it’s a busy travel weekend with Veterans Day, we suggest arriving 2 hours before your flight. If you’re getting dropped off (and don’t need to park), 90 minutes should be fine.

Giving yourself extra time is always a good idea.
