Left Helsinki 28th August, bike was left behind they finally repat my bike to manchester last Sunday (3rd Spent) evening. Sits at Manchester airport until thursday and is now at a random industrial estate in Altrincham 😭

I have a spare bike but I don't have a spare bike bag! Or helmet. My little tools too. And bike bags 😭 I'm going to need to buy a new one - and they aren't cheap if you don't send within 2 days 😭 @sas @HelsinkiAirport please help this is getting very distressing.

Left @HelsinkiAirport on Monday along with a few hundred other athletes and a large majority of our bikes are still in Helsiniki airport. With no update or acknowledgement from them or the airlines.
Bagge phone line nobody answers airlines have gone cold.

But I also have airtags in my bag and know exactly where it is. And it will probs make it back when most of the athletes returning on flights calms down (there's 1000+ bikes stuck out of 5500) it's just whether it makes it back in time for my next race.

In other news, if my bike doesn't make in in 2 weeks for my next race and flights, can I expense back a new bike bag for one of my other bikes? Or the hire of a bike while I'm there?

In other fun news, mine and few hundred, maybe 1000 other athletes travelled home from Finland on Monday... but somehow our bikes didn't. (Some are estimating 2000)
