Closely following #Covid then #Gaza discussions on social media has taught me that all sides of the issue (even when/if they're right about something) aren't interested in the truth as much as they're interested in validating what they think is or want the truth to be.
I really wish I could go back my 20 or 24 year old self & tell him how special he is, how much he is loved, how much he matters & how, as horrible as all the circumstances may seem, there's hope for him but he just needs to watch out for so many things he's not equipped for ๐
American Jewish supremacists are upset that the mass shooting in a mosque took the victim spotlight off of them and they canโt even claim the Muslim victims were Hamas or human shields.
So what do they do? Hereโs what Iโve seen so far:
1. They lock down their synagogues and go on TV to talk about their (((feelings))).
2. Minimize the harm by suggesting the assailants were simply mentally ill, not radicalized by Zionist hate campaigns.
3. Focus on hypothetical future attacks against Jews and call on Muslims to teach their children to condemn these yet to happen attacks against Jews, suggesting in advance that Muslims are to blame.
You canโt make this up. These people are diabolical.
@susanabulhawa 4. Play on pre-existing notions & stereotypes by the uninformed & biased public by suggesting the Mosque & it's community "probably had it coming" without any evidence of that (ref: yesterday's NY Post article)
And back in 2019 the media reported that the perpetrator of the Christchurch mosque massacre was inspired by the Quebec City, Canada mosque attacker. See thr chain reaction?
NBC confirms the San Diego mosque gunmen were inspired by Australian far-right terrorist Brenton Tarrant, who mass murdered 52 Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019.
