@margauxfortis @floboflo While some medicines r meant to cure. Most are made to replenish something the body lacks or isn’t making right. Ex. Ur body is supposed to continually make insulin. So if it doesn’t u have to continually take insulin medication

@JustLogic101 @FourthWaver The desire or action to end an unwanted pregnancy is present in almost all mammals meaning that it’s a basil trait to our lineage. Appearing even before primates spilt off from other mammals. Humans would want abortions even if we didn’t have language. Just like all mammals

In humans It’s been practiced since before history, when does it stop being instinct and start being intent? Where’s the dividing line between us and them?

@JustLogic101 @FourthWaver Most mammals will do something called fetal reabsorption but primates can’t cause of the way the embryo connects to the uterine wall. So for us abortion includes a natural or induced miscarriage

@anewwwday @heirmeg @xoixoyee Fr and humans naturally have an even higher body fat percentage than other great apes. It’s why we’re (usually) positively buoyant while most primates sink. It’s also how we thermoregulate without fur. So honestly it’s even worse
