I defended my master’s thesis amid the rubble of war in Gaza 💔… My dream was to pursue a PhD immediately, but the war stole time, destroyed the universities, and blocked my path.
But I decided not to give up. From this moment on, I will follow PhD books online, study alone, and grant myself the academic degree myself… because dreams should not be delayed, and because I may die at any moment, but I want to die chasing my dream, not burying it with my own hands.
I will build my dream with my own hands…

Research from the #GsponerLab published in @PNASNews today focuses on the AlphaFold-Multimer platform, a platform recognized with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for 2024.
This new paper evaluates and provides guidance for using the platform to predict binding interactions of intrinsically disordered protein regions.
