AIRNZ logic. Flying back from Bali and one upgrade successful to premium ($ paid not loyalty one). Messaged AIRNZ to enquire as to upgrade ($ paid again) to business. Advised that yes, that’s possible but that means the $ we have paid would be gone. Continued in thread below….
There are several seats available in business and AIRNZ seems to be struggling financially so why would you make it unattractive and difficult to pay for an upgrade? @FlyAirNZ Especially given it’s an Elite member requesting this.
So we would have to now bid from economy to business and the several hundreds of $ we have paid to upgrade would disappear. Essentially starting from scratch and wouldn’t go towards the new upgrade. This seems extremely illogical.
@BrianTamakiNZ Trying to work out what’s wrong here? Their plan is for a youth centre for 18 - 35-year-olds focused on education, recreation and leadership….sounds like a great place for youth!
@Light42Lime Could be that the accountants performance hasn’t been acceptance either attitude/absences/lateness or just plain incompetence. Did the herald do references on the person to understand why they can’t get a job?
