For water companies to warn that “customers will be cut off as reservoirs run dry” is a disgrace.

💧Water companies in England and Wales lose 3 billion litres of water every day from leaking pipes.

💧Water companies have sold off dozens of reservoirs to housing developers, while no new ones have been built in the last 30 years.

💧 AI data centres guzzle 5 million gallons of water per day.

Yet another example of a basic essential service that has been wilfully neglected and diminished because of corporation greed, negligence and cost cutting.

He told me that for a while they have had men from various countries like Syria, Iraq, Turkey come in.

They say they are registered but the receptionist cannot find them.
Finally the receptionist finds them and find their date of birth had been changed - so they are now under 18 ( even through they look like 30). They then get expensive treatment for free.

No one does anything .

This is British policing in 2026.

These are the people you’re supposed to call when you’re in trouble.
You’re meant to feel safe knowing that you can rely on them.

When forces lower physical standards, dropping the bleep test requirement from 5.4 to 3.7 in many forces, removing the upper body strength test entirely in 2016, and prioritising diversity targets and recruitment numbers over real competence this is exactly what you get. Public safety becomes optional.
