I can't recommend anything else but FlyingPress

@jyzg Just realized you’re a co-designer of JPEG XL - huge respect for the work there 🙌
From a WordPress product perspective, we’re optimizing for ecosystem support + caching realities today, but we’re watching adoption closely.
⚡ FlyingPress now has built-in image optimization!
Convert images to AVIF or WebP, choose lossless or lossy compression, and auto-optimize new uploads. Runs on our cloud, so no load on your server.
Update to FlyingPress 5.3 and try it
@jyzg JPEG XL can compress slightly better than AVIF in some cases, but the real-world size difference is usually small.
Adding JXL also means more fallbacks (JXL → AVIF → WebP → JPEG), increasing cache variants and reducing CDN/browser cache hit ratios.
@raphaelsuzuki@KatieKeithBarn2@Cloudflare Appreciate the mention 🙌
FlyingCDN runs on Cloudflare Enterprise, tuned for WordPress, and works with any host.
Plus, FlyingPress acts as a fallback cache, serving pages without touching PHP, which helps reduce PHP worker overload during bot spikes.
