Obama challenged me when he said “if you’re disappointed w your elected officials, then grab a clipboard, get some signatures & run for office yourself”.
That’s exactly what I did. Now, I need your help. Invest in my campaign & help me win! #BlueWave2018

Healthy Women, Healthy Babies is more than a catchy name, it’s a plan to finally do right by women in our state. By expanding Medicaid, we can support new moms, invest in preventative care, and empower women to make their own healthcare decisions.
@AllOnMedicare Working in health insurance and sitting in meetings where we had to figure out how to keep people from using their very expensive insurance. Also working on “products” that were specifically designed to exclude coverage for conditions the policy holders had. Pre-ACA.
A majority of Republicans agree—it’s time for nonpartisan redistributing! Voters should be choosing their elected officials, not the other way around! #WI4Us
Erin joined us at a listening session in December, and wanted us to offer more support to kids with special needs. We're increasing special education funding by $600 million because we shouldn’t have to squeeze resources to ensure every kid can be successful. #WI4Us
I’ve said all along we need to expand Medicaid in Wisconsin, and according to a Marquette Law Poll, 62% of Wisconsinites agree. We're going to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare coverage by expanding Medicaid. #WI4Us
After @LGMandelaBarnes and I were elected, we did a listening session tour across Wisconsin to hear directly from the people of our state about what they wanted to see in the budget.
What happened in those sessions was pretty incredible:
Maryann from Coleman and Nancy from Amherst came to our listening sessions and wanted us to address water quality and pollution. We're creating a Wisconsin for them. #WI4Us
I’m delivering my budget address at 7:00 pm tonight. Follow along on Facebook, here on Twitter, or YouTube to hear my plan to create a #WI4Us.

Healthcare is everyone’s concern. Everyone needs healthcare at some point. We must make healthcare affordable and accessible; expanding BadgerCare can get us closer to that goal. #expandBadgerCare
BadgerCare is very popular. People understand that it’s good to cover more people! It’s good for people, it’s good for our economy. Win-Win! #expandBadgerCare
Resurrecting this account to support the BadgerCare expansion! Governor Evers will talk about this in his address tonight. #expandBadgerCare#CitizenAction
Rural hospitals are heavily dependent on BadgerCare dollars. If we don’t expand BadgerCare, those hospitals could go under. Those hospitals are also big employers. Affordable healthcare is in the best interest of rural areas and the entire state. #expandBadgerCare
