Watching An Inaugural Celebration For Young Americans with my fifth graders in CT. Thank you for creating such a wonderful history lesson! Godspeed @DrBiden! #Inauguration2021
"That comprehensive vaccination plans have not been developed at the federal level and sent to the states as models is as incomprehensible as it is inexcusable," @SenatorRomney says in new statement calling for Covid-19 vaccination sites in schools across the country.
Thanksgiving has always been a special time for the Biden family. And while I know this isn’t the way many of us hoped to spend the holiday, the small act of staying home is a gift to our fellow Americans.
@RonRitchhart We use the See Think Wonder routine with photographs from @PaulSalopek Milestones from @OutofEdenLearn. Fifth grade students @RenbrookSchool then read the post that goes along with the photograph. Level of engagement is heightened through the use of this thinking routine.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought to the end, through her cancer, with unwavering faith in our democracy and its ideals. That’s how we remember her. But she also left instructions for how she wanted her legacy to be honored. My statement: https://t.co/Wa6YcT5gDi
Ruth Bader Ginsburg changed her nation for the better. Fairness and justice, especially for those with the least access to power, were her north stars. She was a pioneer for women in the law, and a cultural icon on top of it all. May she rest in peace.
Hello from CT @PaulSalopek and @revkin Questions from a fifth grade class about to embark on #edenlearn. How many miles have you walked? When will you start walking again?
Sat down last night to collect my thoughts on what's happening in Minneapolis and across the country. It's long, but I hope you'll take a few minutes to watch.
It’s up to all of us—Black, white, everyone—no matter how well-meaning we think we might be, to do the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out. It starts with self-examination and listening to those whose lives are different from our own.
