Thanks to everyone who came along to Wednesday's session. Lovely warm day we had. Our volunteers, along with extra help from Government Commercial Agency, cleared weeds from the central paths near the raised bed and completely de-weeded the entire steps.. Well done everyone!
Thanks to everyone who came along to help at our Sunday volunteer session. We spent a few hours weeding the centre raised bed, with the Jet Ski competition as a soundtrack behind us. π
Big thanks to everyone who came yesterday's volunteer session. Despite horrible weather we had 8 regular volunteers and another 8 from the accounting company BDO who joined us for the day. We completed another pathway, uncovering edges that hadn't seen the light of day for years!
Thanks to everyone who came along to litter picking today. We had a good clean of Marine and Crescent Gardens. Just a reminder for all visitors now the weather is getting better - please remember to bin your litter or take it home.
@FoWSG1 Please sign the petition so that litter generating businesses keep their premises clean and not off load on volunteers & councils. Do you have examples of this in your area? Send them to us. https://t.co/drvpvFVutY
Big thanks to everyone who came along to our volunteer day yesterday. We had some of our regulars plus another five volunteers from BDO who took a day off accounting to come and help. We edged an entire path in Crescent Garden - it's now about a foot wider!
Thanks to the volunteers who came along to help with this morning's session. We have started on a new path in Crescent Garden which we think can be widened by a foot or so! We are also cleaning drains and replacing broken covers as we go.
Made a start but then got rained off!
Thanks to all who came along to help litter picking this morning. We had 15 volunteers and cleaned round the Marina play park and a couple of the Gardens. We luckily managed to avoid rain, but it was very windy out there!
The daffodils are out in force in all of our Gardens at the moment and it's looking nice and Springy!
Spotted this busy bee whilst we were litter picking at Potters Barn over the weekend - he very kindly hung around for a photo opportunity! ππ
Thanks to everyone who came along to help with gardening today. We worked on the rockery at Marine Garden, weeding and tidying up. Amazingly we avoided the rain!!
Thanks to everyone who came to help with litter picking in Potters Barn this morning. It was lovely and sunny, and in addition to litter picking we also did some weeding in the rose bed and raised bed. Thanks everyone. π·
Thanks to the volunteers who came to help at this morning's gardening session. We did more clearing along the lower path at Crescent Garden - before and after photos attached! π
Thanks also to the @GreenSefton_ who were out this morning and completed the next section of path. π
Thanks to everyone who came along to help with yesterday's gardening session. We have virtually finished the tidying up of the back corner in Crescent Garden. Just a bit more edging to do and the transformation will be complete!
Thanks to everyone who came to help at yesterday's volunteer session. We did some work at Marine Garden around the rockery.
It's been a busy few weeks for us - big thanks goes out to those who have helped throughout - you can take a well earned rest now!
