Faith has a everything to do with gratitude. It starts with the commandments. They are not just laws for civilization but a framework for a life of gratitude.
And to prove your point about it being readily available to anyone. I did a search of the above statement and below are the results:
"The Ten Commandments are not merely a cold list of legal restrictions; they are a framework for a life of active gratitude. Viewing the law through the lens of thankfulness transforms obedience from an obligation into a joyful response to God’s love, generosity, and self-revelation.
The Law as a Gift
Instead of arbitrary rules, the commandments flow directly from the nature of God (e.g., His faithfulness, truth, and generosity). They act as guardrails protecting us from the destructive outcomes of unchecked desire.
Key Intersections with Gratitude
The First Table (Focus on God):
No other gods / No idols: An expression of thanks for the Creator, recognizing that only God deserves ultimate trust and allegiance.
Sabbath: A weekly, built-in rhythm of gratitude—resting from labor and thanking God for His provision rather than constantly striving for more.
The Second Table (Focus on Others):
Honor thy father and mother: Acknowledging the gift of life, heritage, and guidance.
Do not murder, steal, or bear false witness: Protecting a neighbor’s life, property, and dignity, acting as a baseline for peaceful, loving communities.
The Tenth Commandment (Do Not Covet):
The ultimate commandment of gratitude. It deals not with outward actions, but with the inner heart. It asks us to appreciate what we already have rather than falling into the unhappiness of constantly yearning for what belongs to someone else. "
James, you're right. We can blame all the things but it has no weight. We live in the most incredible times with miracles all around us. You don't need faith to recognize it but, (and its a big BUT 😎) it sure helps when you have a foundation to build a life of gratitude.
Baruch HaShem
Shabbat shalom to all who bless Israel 💙
In this week’s Torah reading, Balak, king of Moab, hires Balaam to curse Israel. Instead, when Balaam sees Israel dwelling according to its tribes, the spirit of God rests upon him and he prophesied:
“How good are your tents, O Jacob, your dwelling places, O Israel… Those who bless you shall be blessed and those who curse you shall be cursed.”
-Numbers 24
Interesting how 500 years after God told Abraham of the “blessings and curses”, a Gentile in Moab knew about it.
In these days also, many Gentiles will defy their anti-Israel leaders and instead of cursing Israel, they will speak blessings.
Have a wonderful weekend.

MASSIVE SCANDAL UNFOLDING IN DENVER
You will want to read to the end. Absolutely shocking corruption and coverup.
Denver City Council blocked Denver International Airport from leasing space to Key Lime Air, because the airline worked with ICE.
There was just one problem…
It violates FAA rules.
So what did they do?
City attorney Miko Brown allegedly urged the airport to fabricate an investigation into the airline’s safety record to cover up for illegally discriminating against the airline for political reasons.
When word got out, Brown and Mayor Mike Johnston flat out denied it.
However CBS just obtained an internal airport memo appearing to reveal the entire thing was true.
City officials conspired to discriminate against a private company for political reasons then lied about it to cover it up‼️
The @TheJusticeDept should investigate. @AAGDhillon
Thank you, Tina Peters, for your unwavering courage, conviction, and integrity.
You stood tall against a rigged election system that has betrayed the trust of Colorado voters and you paid a heavy price for defending it. Your fight for election integrity exposed what so many have tried to bury, and America owes you a debt of gratitude.
On Day One of my administration as Governor of Colorado, you will receive the very first full pardon I issue. We will restore your rights, clear your name, and I will work to make it possible for you to hold the state of Colorado accountable by suing for the grave injustices done to you.
True leaders protect those who defend our Republic. The weaponization of our justice system ends with this campaign.
Together, we’re Reclaiming Colorado.

🚨 Meet Melat Kiros, the 29-year-old “recovering lawyer,” PhD student, and barista running as a Democratic Socialist for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District.
Kiros immigrated from Ethiopia as a baby, then got fired from her corporate law gig after publicly defending pro-Hamas protests and questioning Israel’s right to exist right after Oct 7. Now she’s running on ending all U.S. aid to Israel, an “arms embargo,”, accusing establishment Dems of profiting from “genocide.”, Medicare for All and Dismantling ICE.
@CitizenVMovie Just finished the film. The message needed to be presented and I salute you for the courage. Thank you for making it available here on X.
