SPEAK AN ATHLETES LANGUAGE
no i don’t mean using slang like ‘mid’ or ‘low key’ but through tying intent of chosen exercises to sports movements they understand. I’ve found it shortens the learning curve and creates more efficient communication.
It’s amazing what a few high fives, ‘great effort today’, and ‘i’m proud of you’s can do for an athletes confidence as well as creating buy in to your training
