📢📢📢New feature launched📢📢📢
To enhance privacy, we’ve deployed a separate Fog service that supports the Tor network. Both the website and API are accessible via Tor, further strengthening privacy.

GFog,
I wanted to address the harsh reality that while our platform and products have been performing well and our user-base is steadily growing, our token price has declined significantly. This is especially hard for me to write because I wanted both the platform and token to do well and create a flywheel effect long term. I want to be transparent in what happened so there's no confusion.
A high level recap:
• I started building FogSwap in early 2025 and recognized the potential of privacy as a sector in crypto long before it was "trendy," if you will
• I poured my heart into making FogSwap an ultra-secure, fully private, and fast swap across as many chains as possible and today I think it achieves that
• FogCard was an innovative product we added in as IRL spending in a private fashion began to gain attention and I also believe to be important
• Fog APIs and SDKs are up and working well for a few enterprise partners and will continue to be supported
• All of the other features in our roadmap are still in development and I am working on them daily, regardless of token price or how many people use FogSwap daily
• When we brought the token to market and introduced the flywheel, we saw a very positive reaction and started to attract many new platform users
• Over the course of weeks, after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the token price during one of the roughest patches in macro-market price action, the FOG token broke structure and people began to lose faith. Not just in FOG, but in SOL and altcoins
• Marketing partners broke promises/agreements and sold aggressively; retail sold aggressively; most people in the market were very risk averse and SOL was declining to new lows which caused additional sell offs
• Feeling a bit hopeless and defeated after spending nearly a year of long nights and early mornings coding FogSwap manually, I needed to take some time away from the PC and spend time with family over the holidays at the end of 2025
• I am back now, feeling refreshed and motivated to continue building what I started with the same flywheel mechanism in place
I know I wasn't available at the end of December to answer questions or speak with people as much, but I was truly depressed and needed some space. I hope you can respect that.
There have been some positives too:
• While our token price has decreased, user activity and volume has remained consistent
• I've engaged with a few groups who are interested in leveraging FogSwaps APIs for business use and one party who wants to buy our technology outright
• I've received supportive messages from other builders and platform users asking how to help and what I was building next in Fog's ecosystem because they like the Swap and the Card
Along with this, there have been many negatives and even threats:
• People claiming that the FogSwap team extracted and left which is utterly false. I have lost more than $250,000 on this personally and our team is down more
• People threatening me with various other methods and trying to attempt to discredit my name of the working technology of FogSwap
• People going after those who talked about FogSwap or supported our project for reasons that derive from their personal investment or trading decisions
To summarize:
1. I built a great privacy swap and our team is diligently working on fulfilling the technology rollout we have identified in our roadmap
2. FOG token was an important part of our ecosystem but was destroyed by a long list of bad actors in the space who are very extractive
3. I tried to drive some innovation and ship a competitive privacy platform and feel a sense of accomplishment but also pain because of how much time, energy, and money I have lost in the process while being painted as the villain
To the builders out there:
• Keep building and trying to integrate blockchain and crypto where appropriate
• Ship products that you believe in and ignore the noise of people trying to distract you
• As I reflect, it's okay to launch a platform that has no token attached and might be a better way to approach things in 2026
I will do my best to keep building FogSwap and privacy technology and I'm sorry that 1/2 of our business model (FOG token) did not pan out as planned. I wish I had waited until better market conditions to bring the token into our ecosystem flywheel.
As I am now back fully working, happy to respond to any inquiries by DM.
Thank you for using FogSwap,
Urban
Privacy swaps aren’t a niche.
They’re a multi-billion dollar market used by funds, enterprises, and whales.
$FOG SDKs just opened that demand to every wallet and platform.
