The Key Match Incident panel voted 5-0 that the referee made an error and should NOT have awarded Sunderland a penalty against Arsenal.

But they voted in favour (3-2) of VAR not overturning the decision, deem it "did not meet the threshold for a clear and obvious error."

So, a 5-0 vote that the ref was wrong, yet it wasn't clear and obvious.... 😂

One good change I've seen this time is rival fans agreeing with us. I guess since we've already won the league, it's pointless to pretend PGMOL doesn't have it out for us, and they realise PGMOL will fuck them over eventually if they don't speak out on it.

I've been pleased to see several rival accounts speaking up against the refereeing at both the Sunderland game and the Manchester Derby.

Final thing on the offside goal

I’m not buying PGMOL’s claim that Matt Donahue VAR simply failed to recognise that Enzo attempted to play the ball

He spent a good minute rocking back and forth to see if Enzo got his head to the ball, he physically couldn’t have missed that Enzo attempted to play the ball

The reality in my opinion, is that he completely forgot the laws of the game relating to interfering from an offside position. He looked only at whether Enzo touched the ball, because he thought that was the only rule he needed to look at.

And THAT, raises enormous questions over the standards of Premier League officials
