After more than 2years of relocating to Lagos,I finally visited a restaurant yesterday🥺
I can’t believe this could happen to me until I calculated how long I’ve been out for such social gathering💔
Chaiii shame on you Money Shame!!!😌
I fear I’m creating the biggest digital archive known to man for my baby 😂
He has his own email where I’ve been sending him letters since birth, documenting milestones, random cute moments, first smiles, videos, pictures, you name it.
I also opened a Google Drive just for him so I can keep uploading memories and nothing gets lost.
I’m basically preserving his childhood from my perspective.
By the time he’s old enough to access it, he’ll have an entire childhood waiting for him 🥹
This is heartbreaking, but she may be experiencing what is known as Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI). It is also referred to as premature menopause.
Many people think menopause only happens around age 50. But sometimes, a woman’s ovaries can pack up before she even clocks 40.
Think of a woman’s ovaries like a bank account that holds all the eggs she will ever have.
Every month, her body makes a withdrawal (ovulation). Normally, this continues until around age 50.
But with POI, the bank closes much earlier than expected.
When the ovaries stop working properly, they produce much less estrogen, and her periods may stop.
That might explain why her ultrasound looked normal (the womb itself was structurally fine), but her blood tests showed that her hormone levels had dropped significantly.
Why does this happen?
Sometimes it’s genetic.
Sometimes the immune system mistakenly attacks the ovaries.
And many times, doctors simply don’t know why it happens. It just does.
If your period suddenly disappears for 3 months or more and you’re not pregnant, don’t ignore it.
See a gynaecologist and get the appropriate hormone blood tests done.
AwaDoc can help you book a certified medical professional, and you can also arrange your hormone tests through AwaDoc:

Did you know that peacocks and peahens have a Bluetooth kind of connection? Did you know that peacocks and deer have something in common? Read on
First, let me remind you that the general name for these birds is peafowl. Only the male is called a peacock while the female is known as a peahen.
If you check the head of the peahen in this picture, you'll see some straight feathers on her head. They're called the crest. Even though both males and females crest, they serve more than ornamental roles for peahens. It serves as a sensor that picks signals from the male's tail feathers.
When male peacocks rattle their tails to attract females, the female sees the display and feels it in her crest. This helps her pick the best male for mating.
On what they have in common with deer, they both shed what helps them get laid and grow stronger ones in the following season. Remember that deer shed their antlers 🫎 and grow stronger and more-branched ones the following season? The same goes for peacocks. At the end of every mating season, a peacock will undergo a molting process in which it will naturally shed its feathers and regrow them longer and fuller ahead of the following mating season.
Thank you
Dear University of Ibadan (@UniIbadan), I hope this message meets you well. I have a relative who scored 289 in JAMB and already passed GCE Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Maths, etc.
I am a bit concerned, because we have struggled to find details of your cut off marks for MBBS on your website or any reliable platform. Could you make this information public please? Many thanks.
Dear Honourable Minister @DrTunjiAlausa, well done for all the excellent reforms in the last 2 years. It would be great if you are able to mandate all Universities to make their cut off marks public as done in other progressive countries. This will improve clarity and reduce corruption in the admission process. Many thanks sir! CC @NigEducation.
