@r3nk0o @HuntShowdown @1666 Its unfortunate that my solution doesn't work for you as its been working fine for me ever since dialing it back down to 60hz, as i stated above all the other methods I've tried that didn't work, I thought it could be helpful for some people to try this in case it works for them.

@HuntShowdown My specs, i7 -3770, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM @1666 win 10 64 bit. Anyway i hope someone finds this useful as it was wrecking my head with all the crashes i was getting. i've had none since. I also hope the Devs/Q&A see this and give me a Beta key when the time comes!! Haha, Cheers!

@HuntShowdown but the game still crashed, i even disconnected my extra monitors, removed my OC from CPU and GPU - no good. What did work however was bringing the refresh rate back down to 60 from 144hz, simply doing this i had no issues or crashes since.

Hey, So like most people looking at this thread i had high memory (RAM) usage when playing this with a friend a few hours ago, i tried loads of different fixes (lowering to the eye-sore 720 resolution, turning settings down to low, full screen, windowed, borderless)
