#NBC’s Mike Tirico asked Wyndham Clark about not having crowd behind him bc of Scheffler and Clark’s tantrum at Oakmont where he damaged a locker last year. Redemption win for Clark.

With the front 7 we have and the depth, there is no reason, there shouldn’t be pressure on the QB constantly thus leading for less time for the secondary to give up big plays. Best help for a secondary isn’t a player but a front 7 that actually pressures the QB !
The new and improved Commanders linebackers room.
Young and fast.
Jordan Magee said on Wednesday that both Sonny Styles and Leo Chenal are "athletic freaks."
On the LB's, Magee said, "right now we are competing, helping each other get better. Iron sharpens iron."
@commieoutsider@KevinLa10376922@RefTheDistrict He did get injured I’m saying as a team. We were very good at returning kick offs, they’d rather risk his health in KR vs a starting WR. Would be smart to keep him for that sense
Defensive scheme of 4/3 with Luvu most likely adding additional pass rush which is what he excels in, getting down hill.
Like an off ball linebacker, Daronte Jones will be blitzing a ton like Vikings did last year. I think the name of the game will be getting pressure to QBs
I’m excited for Daronte Jones defense but I really don’t get the Luvu lovefest right now
Where’s he play?
Inside LB? They paid Leo, Drafted Sunny
Edge? They paid Oweh and Chaisson
Run stuffer? Is he better than Kinlaw/Payne/Omenihu?
Cover guy? Not better than Leo/Sunny
I think our front 7 is going to put a lot of pressure on opposing QBs making the CBs life a lot easier this season. The main issue with the CB room last year was not mainly their play but the fact they were asked to cover WRs for 10 Mississippi every passing play….
CB1: Amos
CB2: Mikey
Slot: Amik
Depth: Witherspoon
I really do think our team likes the first 4 CBs we have given we upgraded the front 7 so massively this off-season. Can't wait to see what happens
I also want to reiterate when we traded for Lattimore im pretty sure 90% of this fan base if not more was loving the aggressive trade.
Can’t hate on a big swing, on a former all pro
@JonnyRoot_ When’s the last time we saw a father throw any type of alley oop to their son in a playoff basketball game? It should be celebrated no matter the “hype of it”
THIS. Tell me who Sam Darnold has besides JSN, and a 35 year old Kupp? Darnold’s best friend was his defense keeping him in every single game, getting him the ball back…. It’s going to take time to rebuild this defense. But they’re trying for damn sure.
“Get Jayden some help”
NO. SHIT.
Yall do know a defense can help the offense???? Yall do know a defense can help give the offense more opportunities?
Yall know Bloughs new system won’t have Jayden be Superman.
OF COURSE we still need more, it’s ONE fucking pick.
With Carnell Tate gone, I don’t mind the move at all, you know what helps Jayden the most….. not having to score every single possession because the defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed last season.
@ifuqwitdjones I think Tate and Delane were maybe higher positionally on their board but with not a lot of draft stock to begin with, didn’t seem worth it. Most experts had Styles 3/4/5 on their big board. So for all things accounted for we got a GUY who’s going to make an immediate impact
I don’t really get it. I think our LB group was already solid, I think Downs/Tyson made more sense. If this defense isn’t top 10 I’ll be disappointed tbh
Final Wish List (What I want, not what the team might do necessarily)
1- Trade Back - Lemon or Tyson/ defense 2nd rounder
2- Carnell Tate
3- Caleb Downs
4- Delane
5- Bain / Bailey
6- Jeremiah Love
All of these I’d be pretty happy with.
All to say hard to fuck up. #HAIL
