Here's the truth: our government needs some work if we want to attract top talent & meet the needs of the 21st century. I’ve introduced a bill to jumpstart digital innovation in state & local governments so they can put the power of tech to work on behalf of the American people.
We're proud to partner with @KamalaHarris 's team & the @CenDemTech on the Digital Service Act. This legislation is an important step towards making government truly work for all Americans.
NEW: @SenKamalaHarris is introducing a bill today called the Digital Service Act of 2019 that would allocate $15 million a year in grant funding to help state and local governments set up their own versions of the United States Digital Service. https://t.co/5iThYMxG9O
SF has always punched above its weight class politically. We continue to do so:
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
Governor Gavin Newsom
Senator Dianne Feinstein
Senator Kamala Harris
Lt. Gov Eleni Kounalakis
Treasurer Fiona Ma
I’m so proud to represent this incredible city.
2013: Mavis Batey, English code-breaker at Bletchley Park during World War II, died at age 92. When she was recruited to work as a code-breaker at Bletchley Park she was only 19. Her efforts decrypting an Italian Enigma code and breaking German message were wildly impactful.
Absolutely devastating. This girl is two-years-old. TWO. She should be with her family, not sitting alone in front of a judge who is deciding her future.
