I put everything I had into graduating, and even more into my search. Applied to multiple positions daily, contacting recruiter after recruiter, actively worked on my coding skills, and still have nothing to show for it.
If you’re interviewing for a data analyst position and they say “knowing Python/R is a plus” on the job listing…you better add an additional increase to your counteroffer if you know the fundamentals 😂
Same thing applies for any bonus skills you know when applying to listing

Most of the code you find on google won’t automatically work for your solution anyways…so it would be hard for people who can’t code to get away with it.

Most of being a dev is Googling, copying/pasting/modifying code, and debugging so it’s super unrealistic to make people code on the fly with no external resources.
