@TeamYouTube@metal_vault I want to reupload our content (vid was provided to MV by ourselves) but the vid is declined for being removed in the past. No appeal possible on our side.
I wonder what happens when we try to upload the full album premiere later this month (incl that track) Destroyed, too?
4/4
@TeamYouTube And another round of insanity: I tried to upload OUR video to our channel and guess what: the upload was denied because "the video is identical with content that was removed before". 1/2
@TeamYouTube The first upload of the material was done by @metal_vault - with our permission.
Now it's being claimed by this person who hates one band who was uploaded to the same channel and therefore tries to shut that channel down.
3/x
That vid (among others) was striked without any justification for a claim by a person not holding any rights.
We had a coop with @metal_vault allowing uploads for promotional uses. 2/2
@TeamYouTube In this case, the claimant doesn't want to resolve anything, he's just abusing the system to take down channels. Thats the point. And so far, the channels like @metal_vault are facing being closed despite having permission by the owners to upload their respective content.
@TeamYouTube: Would be great to get in contact, as a friends promotion channel (@metal_vault) is being hit by malicious copyright claims on videos we own, which we allowed Metal Vault to upload on his channel. How can we prove to you that those claims are utterly baseless?
@TeamYouTube Should've added so you are aware and get a full picture:
The person claiming, "Cristóbal Lopez" (if it's even his real name), is doing that to at least two other channels over the last 3 days.
If you can make someone take a closer look at that matter, that would be great.
@TeamYouTube They're copyright claims. The @metal_vault channel is bombed with those, all of them are pulled out of thin air just to get the channel down.
Folter Records and the band themselves own the rights on the Temple of Evil-vid, nobody else.
