Dabi doesn't tell anyone about this, there isn't a lot that he's scared of but birds..?
Oh... They absolutely terrify him.
He just can't deal with them...
The way they get close to you without any fear whatsoever, the way they'll fly atop of your head like it's nothing... It scares the absolute shit out of him.

When Hawks first figured it out he laughed so hard Dabi was getting worried the man would choke. And you know what? He could choke to death for all he cared!
IT'S NOT FUNNY.
But once the bird found out how serious Dabi was about this and how absolutely terrified they make him the birdie started scaring them away...
Hawks always comforted him.
Dabi doesn't need comforting! He's a grown man and a villain for fucks sake!
But...
It's nice... It's makes him blush like some stupid teenager and he HATES IT.
There's no way he's scared of birds and is in love with this big ass stupid bird man!
Fate cannot possibly be this cruel...

Sometimes, when Dabi's really tired after a long day and he has too meet up with Hawks, his shadow as he flies down makes him jump out of his damn skin.
If he had a 500 yen coin for every fucking time it happened he could buy so many cold sobas it's not even funny.
And the bird thinks it's soooo fucking funny!
He's going to kill him one day...
But maybe after they cuddle and watch a comforting movie together as Hawks plays with Dabi's hair.
Yeah... That'll be nice...
