THE MODUS OPERANDI 🚨‼️
Modi goes to Bangladesh, tells them that India can supply them electricity.
Two months later, Adani signs an MOU with Bangladesh for supplying power, even without having a power plant in that country or anywhere nearby.
Modi then gives a loan to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh signs a 25 year power purchase agreement at rates higher than any supplier, including those from India.
Sheikh Hasina is the Prime Minister.
Later, a revolution takes place, Sheikh Hasina has to flee Bangladesh. She is now sentenced to death by Bangladesh. She is state guest in India at the moment.
Bangladesh is investigating corruption by Adani in the 25 year power purchase agreement.
So, this is how it flowed.
Modi asks Bangladesh to take electricity from India.
Adani signs the MOU.
Modi gives loan to Bangladesh.
Bangladesh signs PPA with Adani.
Same thing has just taken place in Bhutan, where Modi has given a loan for power project and the project has gone to Adani.
Same thing happened in Sri Lanka.
Same thing happened in Rafale Deal, where Modi paid 30,000 Crore extra that came back as Offset Contract for Anil Ambani.
If one was to study all the tours of Modi since 2002, while he was CM of Gujarat to 2014 onward, when he became PM of India, it will become clear that Adani has been receiving tax payer money via dubious deals.
Problem is, that these deals do not impact common citizens on a daily basis and it does not impact them financially in the short run.
Fact remains that money that could have been spent on providing better facilities to citizens is being diverted for personal gains. In the long run, it will hurt the country.
Like a regime change in Sri Lanka and now Bangladesh puts the investments in danger of being written off.
Here is an update - All three satellite-tagged Amur Falcons Apapang (male), Alang (young female) and Ahu (female) are now undertaking their daring Arabian Sea crossing. Apapang has already flown nonstop for 76 hours, covering 3100 km at an average of 1000 km per day, aided by strong easterly tailwinds. From here, the journey becomes even more extraordinary as they head towards Somalia on their epic 3000 km oceanic flight @sureshwii@wii_india #Amurfalcons
A few years ago, city bus service in Odisha had fare slabs like ₹5, 7, 10, 13, 15… up to ₹25 or ₹30.
Conductors often struggled with change, leading to delays, arguments, and irritated passengers and staff.
As managing director of the company, I discussed the problem with @PrashanthBachu, a brilliant urban mobility expert. He suggested: “Simplify it. Make it ₹5–10–15–20…”
Our team was very hesitant. As a govt company, we couldn’t raise fares. This meant we could only reduce fares to simplify the slabs — ₹7 → ₹5, ₹13 → ₹10, a clear revenue drop !
Prashanth said it wouldn’t. This sounded illogical but his reasoning was brilliant:
• Faster ticketing reduces freeloaders, those who get off before the conductor reaches them.
• Happier passengers and staff mean smoother service.
• Globally, fares are in easy multiples.
We took the risk and implemented it.
Result? Everything improved. We had fewer complaints and happier staff. And the biggest surprise: Revenue went up by 3%.
Sometimes, simplifying is smarter than increasing.
