@DotoDoya @MintBlitz This 100%. Complete retcon of everything after the OG trilogy. There was no solid direction or consistency in the story/lore between any of the projects since Halo 4. Its the only way to “clean up” the universe/IP and get any new players to care about it.

@SkinSpotlights It’s really bad for majority of players. The new overpriced exalted skins being tied to a predatory gacha system are awful. Plus, the changes to the season/event passes and loot system are a direct downgrade. Not an ecosystem I want to engage with anymore.
