We're incredibly proud of our project leader @VibhutiJPatel for all her efforts this month as part of the #FoodCycle50. There's still time to sponsor her efforts to help us continue to support our communities. #fundraising
This is my tired, sweaty face after a morning run of 9ish miles to complete my @foodcycle April #fundraising challenge of running 50 miles! Please donate what you can to help us keep serving our communities: https://t.co/NF1vr3cRZm
@KidarWolf Our friends @FoodCambridge have a great scheme already in place to support this. If people #GrowARow it can be donated to the community food hubs and distributed to residents all across the city from there.
Thank you @MarcusRashford for raising your voice on this. As part of the #CambridgeFoodPovertyAlliance we've seen the impact on our communities, and we would like to see a #UTurn so that our vulnerable residents continue to be supported @DanielZeichner @lucyfrazermp @ab4scambs
A very egg-citing delivery from our friends over at @WickenFenNT this afternoon - 144 tasty Easter Eggs! They've already been bagged up ready to go in our home deliveries tomorrow #ThankYou#community
This #VolunteersWeek we wanted to say a huge Thank You! to all of our volunteers. In recent weeks we have delivered food parcels to almost 500 homes & we're now delivering to over 60 homes each week. We really couldn't do it without you

A big thanks to @powdies for their generous donation. We're currently delivering bags of food to 60 houses a week, so why not follow their Facebook or Twitter page to help us secure more fruit and veg to help residents in Cambridge #community#fooddistribution
@powdies is donating £1 worth of fruits and veggies to @FoodCycleCamb for each follow on our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn page. Keep your likes rolling to help the vulnerable in the difficult time of COVID19💚

A big thanks to our friends at The Marque @coopuk, who last week donated 600kg of surplus food. We were able to distribute that as part of our delivery service to 40 houses across the city who were incredibly grateful to receive a bag to help them through the week.
A different kind of open, but still here for you
From Monday the community fridge will be open 12-2 to collect donated food. Pls bring your own bag and follow social distancing guidelines
Our work with @camcitco food hubs carries on too, distributing hot meals to those in need
We are delighted that Cambridge will be one of our first Projects to trial a new delivery service. If you are interested in receiving a Food Parcel, please complete our referral form, if we are able to deliver to you, we will call or text you to confirm.

We are pleased to announce that we will be trialling and new delivery service in a small number of locations and hope to roll this out across the country soon.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping us get to this point.

It's been a tough call to make but this is about keeping guests and volunteers as safe as possible. No regular #Arbury meal tonight, watch this space for updates and signposting #StayHomeSaveLives#community#Cambridge
📣ALL FOODCYCLE PROJECTS ON PAUSE
Today we have made the difficult decision to put all of our Projects on pause for the time being. We are working as hard as we can to look at other options and we hope to have an update soon.
💚 FoodCycle 💚
Current most needed items to make up our '3 days of nutritionally balanced emergency food boxes' Other foods are gratefully received also. Many thanks.
This is a great place to look to find out the latest with what's happening across the city for emergency food provision and what to do if you have surplus food to donate. Thanks to our friends at @FoodCambridge for pulling it together so quickly #community
No hot meal today, but come and grab a bag of goodies for you or a self-isolating neighbour!
Please *only* come out if it's safe for you & others.
We hope to have a cooked meal takeaway service next week.
