We especially encourage non-Russel Group universities to nominate outstanding UG dissertations focusing on food. Learn more on our website.

The dissertations should be of first-class standard and be submitted by the student’s Department (Head or nominated representative) and with the student’s knowledge. Look out for more details about the submission process around May.
The prize is open to any currently registered undergraduate student at a UK university and will be awarded to the dissertations that exhibit the best overall contributions to the wide range of issues relating to food geographies.
UNDERGRADUATE DISSERTATION PRIZE
We are pleased to offer a first-place undergraduate dissertation prize of £75 and two ‘highly commended’ prizes of £35.
