@Tanvim YES, thank you for articulating the struggle, barriers, and privilege that goes into being a writer or "making it" in writing industries. It also takes time and luck to find someone who can nurture someone's writing ability/emotional labor. Constructive feedback is hard to find.
@Tanvim This is exactly how I feel about academic writing. There's no time to develop the actual skill of writing. Faculty tend to support/foster those who need the least amount of work writing seminar papers, articles for publication, and even composing academic job documents.
@FoodOriented Absolutely stunning! What oven are you using? I'm trying to find a place in my house for a Rofco B40. Baguettes are so hard to get right, it's those simple breads that require every factor to be just right shaping, scoring, heat distribution etc. Also, a lot of repetition.

@bernard_prof Having read a lot on Roman imperialism I am very excited to read this! From Harris to Badian to Smith to Eckstein to Rosenstein to many more.

Would love to own this beautiful book! Important addition to my eastern European and central Asian cookbook collection.
@paulaforbes I hear you. It’s pretty difficult to hear people say how COVID allowed them to spend more quality time with family, do things they love (cook/read), take risks, adopt dogs, etc. without certain feelings arising
